Melissa Abram is an independent jewelry and accessories designer based in British Columbia. She obtained her BFA in Creative Writing from the University of British Columbia, and has since gone on to complete a number of courses in jewelry techniques such as stone setting and findings. After the birth of her eldest daughter, she took the plunge and made her art a full time business.

Many of Melissa's pieces take classic forms- but a closer look might reveal a deliberately asymmetrical pendant; brilliant red coral beads paired with muted turquoise and purple; or an unexpected flash of iridescence in a strand of seemingly plain beads…The effect is feminine, pretty, and just a little quirky!
